victory!

the same story: I have a super-duper necklace I failed to make a proper shot of, and today! at last! I've won! Look, here are pictures dated 2010 and the very beginning of 2017

You could notice the change in the chain. Yes, I've changed it to much more prettier, fancy, artisan chain hand woven with fine pearls in violet and mauve. Sky is the limit :)

After Rain

Yesterday we had a photoshoot right after rain and the rainbow peeped out to see who's there
the thing we shot is here. it's a dainty square pendant in earthy hues with a slab of petrified wood.

Metal surprises

It's first time in my work I met powder metal of poor quality. I made a fancy chain with these links, then the necklace was kept in a box and never worn. Recently I found out that the links were just disintegrating :(
So I was to redo the chain from cratch and refuse using these links for ever...

Gift for Mom

Tomorrow is my mom's birthday, so I assembled new earrings for her. The bases are handmade ceramic, dangles are carved jasper, findings are silver-plated... Hope she'll like them.

Pinterest thoughts

Surfing through Pinterest I'm frequently surprised with the number of likes and re-pins this or that item gets. Sometimes ordinary, even boring things gain several kilo likes while detailed, mature things with striking design meet crummy several hundred or even dozens. All this allows for the conclusion that likes in Pinterest don't reflect the actual market; they are non-predictable (as well as the demand). Hence, do what you love and don't try to forecast what will be liked the most. Do. What. You. Love. But is it enough I wonder?

New Catch

I must say that we live in the capital of the European country. In the very center of the capital. In the 100-something year old building. And it speaks for itself. My cat (one of) is used to catch mice. Yeah, we live on the third floor and still we have mice in the apartment! Here's the poor thing:

Rainy Day

It's rainy day today - what a coincidence! I just listed my Cats Under Rain bracelet! Sometimes I feel like being able to manage the weather through my jewelry... :)

River Necklace

Today I listed my beloved gorgeous River Necklace full of ocean jasper, agate, and glass beads. Remember the session in the studio with me in the main role - not so bad, not so bad...

busy time

Have busy days with my Etsy shop, trying to re-do photos, titles, tags, descriptions, all such stuff. Even having rest in the garden with my family I think about what else could be re-done and improved. Crasy.
